Dark Pop Artist Lisa Danaë Unveils Eerie and Captivating Single “Kill The Killer”

In early Spring, this Filipina-American Dark Pop Princess gave us the first single off of her forthcoming EP set to release in 2024 called “i’m not sure what to do”. She was then recently honored with a Song of the Year nomination for “i’m not sure what to do” at The Wavy Awards, and is set to unleash the continuation of this project with the second single, "Kill The Killer," on September 22, 2023.

Lisa discovers that the killer in her dream represents her own inner imposter syndrome and the dark voice that has haunted her. This revelation mirrors her real-life journey of dealing with losses – the passing of family members and the fall of toxic friendships – and overcoming the ensuing imposter syndrome while navigating her music career. It encapsulates the depression stage of grief and its haunting production by Pete Cho (Drug Cosmetics, JESSA, Demi Ramos), promises a unique blend of dark pop, cinematic elements, and alt-pop vibes that will captivate listeners with its otherworldly auditory experience.
